I checked every single public GPT and compiled a list of 12 best custom GPTs for productivity.

I woke up 🥱 this morning and decided I want to get ahead in custom GPTs.

To do that I checked every single public GPT. This includes everything that has been published up to this point. To be frank, I probably did not find all of the GPTs but I did take a look at everything that was indexed in Google.

You can also easily do that. Just go to google and search for "", or click here.

Most of the GPTs I found were simple personal projects with little to no value to the end user. It was still fun to see, and not to lose the time I spent I compiled a list of fun GPTs here.

While testing the GPTs, one thing I learnt to filter out low quality GPTs was to start by checking the Privacy section of the GPT.

There were a few exceptions but the overall conclusion was that if the GPT does not have a privacy policy then it is likely not going to provide anything beyond the default GPT, and frankly is not worth your time. There are exceptions, some are included in this list.

Update (November 17th, 2023)

There are already too many GPTs to keep following, so instead here is a link to a community kept repository, where you can find most of the GPTs that are worth looking at.

I have to warn you that most of the GPTs are not worth looking at, they are essentially just limited versions of basic ChatGPT, and do not offer any additional tools, besides some prompts and a few files. Regardless, it is interesting to see how the community keep making these, and some of them really are fun.

The ultimate file converter for images, audio, video, documents and more. It handles individual or batch uploads, supports ZIPs, and provides a download link.

Remember the days, when you needed multiple programs to convert the file in the format you needed. Not that it was difficult but this has the potential to take this problem out completely.

Data Analysis

Drop in any files and I can help analyze and visualize your data

The ChatGPTs file upload feature is a game changer. I believe we will see countless more GPTs that take data analysis to the next level. We just need to hook in a few more services with analysis capabilities. The Advanced Data Analysis tool already gives a great base for it.

Presentation Architect

PPT Expert in crafting stunning, detailed PowerPoint presentations, from research to final product.

If you are one of those people who need to create a presentation everyday, then tools like this and Presentation Helper will be a breath of fresh air for you.

Effortlessly design anything: presentations, logos, social media posts and more.

This GPT is built on and allows you to generate various designs.

Calendar GPT

I'm here to help you prepare for your day! Powered by Zapier's AI Actions.

This GPT uses Zapier actions to help you organize your day. It takes a bit of work to understand how to use it, but the idea is futuristic. You could have your GPT plan your day, or even your life 😅😟

Your Research Assistant - I'll help you navigate over a corpus of 200M articles, journals, and books

This GPT is using to connect to a large database of verified research. You can fact check, get links and references to the topics that are relevant for you. Amazing step for research to go viral.

MCAT Organic Chemistry

MCAT Organic Chemistry Assistant. GPT supplemented with access to best-in-kind study guides (2023)

Chemistry takes a lot to learn. But since it is based on logic and facts this GPT can help you get there faster.

What hashtags should you use on TikTok to go viral? Search for trending TikTok hashtags to significantly boost your business's visibility.

While nothing revolutionary in terms of the actual feature, this does show the capability of GPT. You can automate mundane tasks, things you used to do through Google search.

Prompty is your personal prompt engineer. Provide your prompt, and they'll analyze and optimize it using proven techniques such as Chain-of-thought, n-shot and more

Am I sold that prompt engineering is a serious skill that should be promoted? Not quite. But I do know that a lot of people struggle with this, so a GPT that helps write better prompts has value.

Transcribe audio, summarize podcasts, search Apple Podcasts

Yes, ChatGPT can listen now and thankfully you do not need to. This GPT uses to transcribe audio files. Image this - you feed your favorite podcast - it transcribes, then summarizes and in the end you get a short version of something you don't care enough about to listen 🤯 There are other use cases for this, but definitively not for things you enjoy to listen to. 😄

Domains Hunter GPT

Discover your ideal domain effortlessly with Domains Hunter GPT. Just share your idea, and our AI swiftly queries multiple services to find available domains, saving you time and sparking inspiration.

Have you ever tried choosing a domain name for your business? It is not easy. Usually domain services are sold in a way that promotes trends, makes it difficult to think creatively,etc... This is a good tool to help with finding a domain.

I am going to keep this list updated as new productivity GPTs appear. We also have to look out for the marketplace which is supposed to come out soon.

Overall CustomGPTs are a game changer. While ChatGPT plugins were a good step in this direction they were highly inaccessible, mostly aimed for companies to profit. Custom GPTs bring the same power to the community and this is were we are likely to see some amazing progress. Granted to use external actions in your GPTs you do need a bit of programming experience, however the learning curve has dropped significantly.
